The Hong Kong Language Training Center is now accepting applications for its popular summer programmes for children entering Kindergarten 2 and 3 and Primary studentsa great chance for your kids to have fun with English, improve their language skills, get a head start on next year's studies, and enjoy themselves!
We offer both a two-week summer programme , which runs from 18 to 30 July , and a three-week summer programme , which runs from 4 to 24 August . Children who enroll in both the two- and three-week programmes at the same time receive a 10% DISCOUNT.

For students about to enter K2/K3 HK$1,350 (9 hours) |

Peter Pan English offers your child the opportunity to use English in a fun, relaxed environment. Students take part in such activities as painting, cooking, and collage. They also enjoy stories, singing, and imaginative play. Peter Pan English focuses on arts and crafts, and each week your child will bring home creations produced in the classroom. |

2. Frances King Phonics
For students about to enter P1 & P2 HK$1,350 (9 hours)
This phonics course helps children about to enter P1 and P2 with pronunciation, reading, and writing at the same time it builds confidence and increases motivation to learn. Each lesson introduces different groups of letters, sounds, and target vocabulary. These topics provide the starting point for a wide range of enjoyable language activities ideally suited for this age group, including learning songs and chants, listening to stories, watching short videos, reading, writing, and games. |
3. Frances King Creative English, Level 1î“śLevel 6
For students about to enter P1 to P6 HK$1,350 (9 hours)

Our six Frances King Creative English Clubs for Primary students are open to P1, P2, P3 and 4, and P5 and 6 students. These theme- and topic-based summer programmes encourage students to be creative and participate in an exciting variety of activities in an English-language environment. These include stories, songs, arts and crafts, videos, computers, games, and drama. The clubs promote the spontaneous and natural use of English in an informal context through interaction and cooperation with other children as well as with native English speakers.

1. Fun with Food
For students about to enter K2 HK$1,800 (12 hours)
Your child's educational experience through the medium of English in this course provides an opportunity to develop and improve social, language, literacy, and physical skills through interaction with teachers and classmates. Each lesson offers singing, stories, activities linked to the topic, snack time, and play time. Some lessons include cooking, arts and crafts, and videos. (The fee for this course includes the course material.)

2. Animal Adventure
For students about to enter K3 HK$1,800 (12 hours)
In this course your child develops and improves literacy, social, and motor skills through interacting with other students and the teacher via individual, pair, group, and whole-class activities. As skills development varies from child to child, a single class often contains a range of abilities. The syllabus accommodates this range to make sure every child, regardless of developmental level, has an enjoyable experience. The course, based around four stories, includes a course book.

Three-week programme
|
For students about to enter P1 and P6 | HK$1,800 (12 hours)

The topic- and task-based syllabus of our Primary courses accommodates a range of abilities, ensuring that the programme not only is an enjoyable experience for each child but also helps foster each child's confidence and motivation in learning English. The courses encourage students to communicate in English through interacting with other students and their teacher in individual, pair, group, and whole-class activities.
The course material has been created specifically for Hong Kong students and incorporates the four main language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) as well as vocabulary building. The course reader stimulates students' interest in reading extensively and provides a context for discussion, as well as developing their reading skills. Courses also include videos that either accompany the reader or relate to one of the topics, games, songs, or arts and crafts activities. (P1 to P6 courses include a course book and a graded reader.)

How To Enrol |
Registration
Due to the high demand for some courses, we may not be able to accommodate all applications.
Online
You can enroll your child online at http://www.language.com.hk/registeronline.php, selecting an available course and filling in all the required information. When we receive your booking and payment, we will e-mail you a student ID number. Please fax a copy of your child's student identity card or proof of the class your child is in at school, quoting the student ID number, to 2106 1333. When we receive the fax, we will post you the Student Information Booklet and your receipt.
By post
You can enroll your child by post. Please download and fill in the registration form and send the completed form to us with a cheque made payable to "Hong Kong Language Training Center Ltd." and a copy of your child's student identity card or proof of the class your child is in at school. We will process your application and send you a receipt and confirmation within five working days.
In person
To enroll your child in person, please visit the Customer Services Centre at our Causeway Bay centre. Please remember to bring your child's student identity card. We place students in classes according to the year they are about to enter at school. Please see below for the registration start dates.

Payment Methods
We accept payment by cheque and bank transfer. Please make cheques payable to "Hong Kong Language Training Center Ltd."
Refunds
We regret that refunds are available only if a course is cancelled. Otherwise, fees paid are neither refundable nor transferable in current or subsequent terms. While we make every effort to run the courses as advertised, we reserve the right to change the time, place, course content, and teacher.
Typhoons and Rainstorms
We regret that we are unable to offer refunds for classes that are cancelled due to typhoons or rainstorms.
